 The pool

Our pool is 25m long with 6 lanes. Starting at 1.1m it goes all the way down to 3.5m, the water is crystal clear and heated to 28.6 degrees. See the full timetable for details. Activities include:

  • Public and family swims – Open pool session with no lane ropes.

  • Lane swims – just as it says, lanes with different swim speeds

  • Gentle Swims – quieter session with no lane ropes, for those not wanting to swim lengths and gain more confidence in the water.

  • Adult swim – lanes and no children

There are also resident clubs including Weymouth and Portland waterpolo club, Aquafit, Octopush, Nautilus Sub-aqua, Weyport Swimmers and Triathlon sessions.

Learn to swim

Osprey’s highly successful Learn to Swim programme runs through 44 weeks of the year on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays after school with lessons for beginners through to advanced swimmers following the National ASA Syllabus.
